Every nook and corner is not to be missed.
If you’re a newbie, a complete stranger to trekking, Dayara Bugyal Trek is perfect for you! The trek has been rated as easy to moderate, and you can indeed have an experience of a lifetime!
The Dayara Bugyal is a 5-6 days long trek and the total trekking is estimated to be around 40 km to cover an altitude of 3850mts.
The trek starts from an enchanting hamlet named Barsu on the Haridwar-Gangotri road that overlooks the graceful valley and the snow-clad mountains. With every set of steps you take, the trail delivers a spectacular sight of grasslands stretching far and wide to an endless world of green fostered by the towering grandeur of the Himalayas.
It remains a perfect opportunity to learn about cultures, the flora and fauna and the outstanding geography of the Himalayas.
While on your trek, your trial will be led by a line of pine trees. In winter, clad with snow, you will also be led by small shrubs with berries growing on it. This part of the region is a carpet of grasslands and rhodendorens spread far and wide surrounded by a variety of flowering plants
The region also has an abundance of bubbling streams sourcing from the glaciers. If one gets lucky, you may get to see Himalayan Brown Bears hibernating, Tibetan and Himalayan wolves and even the golden eagle circling the grasslands

You will descend down to your initial camp, Barsu. Halfway down the trail, you will witness Barsu along with other adjoining settlements with different colours of the tin roof.
